The Limes in Wantage, Oxfordshire will soon offer five detached custom homes across a brownfield site with adjacent canal.
The former shoe factory site is located in the small Oxfordshire town of Wantage, in the Vale of White Horse. The scheme will provide four detached custom homes situated around an exclusive courtyard setback from the main road. Each home will offer layout options that enable homebuyers to create living spaces that suit, as well as infinite interior fittings and fixtures.
Location
The town of Wantage is excellently located for local amenities, with local schools, supermarkets, shops and food outlets. Oxford is only 20 minutes from The Limes and from there, central London is accessible in less that 90 minutes by train.

Design choices
Homebuyers will have the opportunity to choose their preferred serviced plot and associated house design. They will then choose their room layout from several options provided. Their home will be constructed on their behalf and delivered as “Blank Canvases”, before homebuyers fit-out their homes with kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and decorations, taking advantage of local trades, vendors and support from the Custom Build Homes “My Custom Build” App.
Progress and timescales
The site now benefits from full planning permission and the on-site infrastructure works are due to begin in Q1, 2023. Sales launch is due from Q2, 2023 with published prices immediately prior.
