Allan Corfield joins Custom Build Homes Management Team as Head of Architecture and Placemaking.

Custom Build Homes, the UK’s preeminent Enabler of custom and self-build housing, is pleased to announce that Allan Corfield has joined the company in the role of Head of Architecture and Placemaking on a part-time basis. Allan will perform his role in parallel with running his award-winning practice, ACA.

Having supported Founder, Tom Connor to develop Custom Build Homes since its inception, Allan brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of custom and self-build design, construction, and project management.

As Head of Architecture and Placemaking, Allan will be responsible for developing and overseeing the Architecture and Urban Design requirements, including the recruitment of staff to build capacity in the fast-growing company. His keen passion for self-build, technical knowledge, and keenness to implement design led, sustainable solutions enable him to play a pivotal role in the scaling of self-commissioned housing at Custom Build Homes.
